Americans/Canadians shipping gear with Canada Post

Anyone ever ship guitar gear using Canada Post? I'm thinking larger guitar-related items like guitars in hardshell cases, amps (heads AND combos), and amp cabs.

Question for you Americans... did you ever have to pay customs or any other extra fees when the item arrived at your American residence?

I have received several items off of ebay from canada. I never had to pay anything extra.

Thats all I use to ship from Canada to the states,overseas,within canada. Never had one issue, and they always seem to be the best rate....


I wouldnt have any reservations recommending them to you!

I'll try it, thanks. I've only ever shipped smaller parcels using Canada Post... for guitar gear, I used to use FedEx.
