Not upgrading the levees is unfortunate, but understandable given the cost. But for city/state officials not to have a real disaster plan, knowing the city's vulnerability, is unforgivable. I read something horrifying: Texas has opened its state campgrounds to evacuees free of charge, but Louisiana is still charging them $20 to get in. This in a situation where there are thousands of poor folks in that state with no homes left and nowhere to go. Unbelievable.

Photo search has nothing to do with yahoo's stance on anything. Search for porn photos and yahoo photos will index them, its a database plain and simple.

This is a good test for our Homeland security system. Unfortunately, it's not working very well. Communications is very bad. I don't think they were ready for the Levies to break and probably would have been not as bad, but still! It's possible the State of LA knew and were crossing their fingers hoping one of them would not let go. What a mess.
