Aside from the classic 50,60,70`s musicians that may be stranded,i wonder whats going with some other fave bands thru the years I liked from New Orleans:Exhorder,Incubus(not the gay nu metal band),Zebra....I`ll think of more later....

What about Down? It would be cool if they could put out a third album now.

Used to until recently. Sold everything in N.O. and moved back to Lost Angeles.

Phil has a couple of homes near the Lakefront in N.O. and a nice spread in Covington / Mandeville, LA. (30 mins. North of New Orleans).

Too many good local bands to name......
Sleep. The sound doesn't collapse to riffs of early eyes either.

I just saw Leo Nocentelii (sp?) from the Meters with most of Galactic at B.B. King's in NYC. Besides sounding amazing, they also raised some money for NO relief. He kicked ass, not only bustin out some funky grooves and jams, but fuckin SHREDDING, playing faster then I will ever hope to, but keepin it musical and interesting. Honestly i went for Galactic, I really don't know anything about the Meters, but now I really want, no NEED, to check them out.
