    Another band I forgot to mention is Faith No More. Jim Martin is an animal. That man inspires me to play guitar [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] I know he isnt playing super harmonic poly-fusion hybrids or whatever, but something about their music and his playing hits me like a ton of bricks.

        Th Beatles
        John Lennon - One of the best song writers ever, with a great voice
        Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath early on
        Jimmy Page
        Ritchie Blackmore
        Jon Roth
        Jimi Hendrix and Randy Rhoads - Biggist influence
        Both inspire my to be a better guitarist

        With Zeppelin and Sabbath:
        It was the music that really inspired me to want to become a musician.

                      I love several of the bands mentioned previously, for pretty much the same reasons as the rest of you guys. However, I have a couple of others that I've not seen mentioned yet.

                      Front Line Assembly - The only band to adequately replicate the music that I hear in my head. Scarey machine rhythms, cool movie samples and crunchy guitars. If the Borg formed a metal band, this is what it would sound like!

                      Napalm Death - All the huge riffage and blast beats of the Death Metal crowd, without the facepaint, gimp costumes and cod Satanic imagery. Honest,angry and intelligent. [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

                            Pretty Boy Floyd and Faster Pussycat, oooo boooyyy, I have no words to describe them....

                            but L.A. Guns and Love/Hate have made pretty awsome sleazy stuff, great playing too.

                                I would like to see how they are live, I've heard many times that they are awsome live band, Slipknot's drummer Joey Jordison who is a HUGE glam rock fan said that they were better than Kiss and Motley Crue live. That being said, musically they are almost as bad as Pretty Boy Floyd
