No kidding. But how did he think that marinating the donkey in tiger pee would make it taste like tiger? lol. That's what kills me.

So, if I pee on steak does it taste like Canadian Bacon?

Well, urine is sterile. So there wouldn't be any danger of some weird kind of tiger disease.

What I was referring to is the ancient practice of chinese medicine which uses parts of many animals to make aphrodisiacs. tiger penis soup was a commonly used remedy to increase ones libido, many tigers were killed strictly for their value on the black market even though they have been protected for years, I suspect the urine was a way to recreate the taste of the real tiger penis, the same applies to rhinocerous horn. Palateability of the meat is not the issue as much as the assumed effect it might produce.

Good point. I guess I'll only be marinating my donkey meat in my own urine. Thanks for the heads up.

Reading. There's a thing called "Urine Therapy" where people actually drink their own urine. It's supposed to be good for you. I've never tried it, though.
