    I know man..

    I try..it's just that I'm only 41 and with all those damn injuries I compiled while working ..I have arthitis in my entire spine..man does it hurt..I mean always and it hurts bad...three herniated discs..so far.

    I try and talk myself to think things can be worse..and I know they will be with age..arthritis doesn't get better with age..my dad is only 61 and he can hardly climb my stairs ..his knees and ankles are pure mush now..he was so powerful at one time..and I see myself right behind him..

    it's really hard to keep a smile on my face no matter how I want to..I like to laugh..its the best!

    My bitterness hurts me the most when it affects my family..that's when I have to draw a line..I try and not be too harsh on them..they are my world..and why I breathe.

      I figured out long ago that people were assholes and trying to confront them and make them be courteous does nothing but make YOU look like the asshole. I just blow them off. Keeps the blood pressure down.

        Mike, that is the very logical way to handle things..and I know this. I'm trying to get to that point (with help). [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

        But in my dealings with people..it is a way of getting respect..I wouldn't do it so much..if it didn't always work.

        13 years at barking orders at stupidos was my job..it's a "power trip" no doubt..it's hard to turn that off or let go of that at times.

          Well, I have found that people get even more angry if you do not rise to occasion and give them what they want, a confrontation. Nothing makes people looking for attention more pissed off than complete indifference.

              I never get "confrontation" nor really want it..usualy just my presence and or words will squash it..

              people don't fire back at me when I get to that "level"...and it doesn't make me "more angry"..i have a sense of fuzzy warmth..

              Maybe some day someone will kick in the warm fuzzys and I will chill a bit.. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

              nahh ..that would open up a lot of problems for both parties for sure...to be honest. [img]/images/graemlins/what.gif[/img]

              I had many kicks in the ass before..that just send me into overdrive trash mode. [img]/images/graemlins/eek.gif[/img]

              Every man know his limitiations..It's best for me to stay home for the time being and to avoid contact with humans as much as possible...until this passes...or learn how to contol my temper better.

              I let my wife drive everwhere now..It got to the point where I don't even want to drive anymore..I put the seat back so I won't get aggravated..wake me when we get there..

              It's purley "Narcistic Rage" that is triggered by the pain of my injuries due to years of dealing with "people"..Therfore I demand special treatment.

                      I can't get rid of Katrina. I have 2 evacuees staying with me that need to be kept up to date on what's going on.

                            I make myself look "unapproachable"..nobody bothers me..my appearance is "tactical"..

                            I love kids..all kids..kids don't fear me at all..they friggin' love me..they always have..it's like they can just see thru me and any facade..even with my game face on...I adore them.

                              Anytime the media does this massive coverage of a single issue and gives you the rest of the news in about 5 min. kinda lets you know how they stretch things to fill their time slots when they don't have a big story, Bill had the right idea, turn off the tube and the computer, go to a car show or concert or something. I was just b.s.ing with my neighbor about the whole situation in N.O. and the one thing that really seems to ring clear is when the shit hits the fan, you better be able to take care of yourself, cuz baby you're pretty much on your own.
