Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright, that God may love thee. Speak the truth always, even if it leads to your death. Safeguard the helpless and do no wrong.
Nah. It's easier for artists to use their noteriety to help them get elected to public office, than for public officials to land a recording contract. See: "Ahnold".
...Kind of says something about what we, as a nation, view as the qualifications for being a good public official, no?
Semi-related-scary note: I heard a statistic the other day. Something to the effect of that the number of votes for the last "American Idol" contest was roughly equivalent to 50% of the total voter turnout for the last Presidential election. ...WTF? Kind of shows you where our priroities are.

you can be any age and you can vote more than once to vote for an American idol. if that were the case for a presidential election well i guess Rubin would be the President. That does make a good question though. how many of those left homeless and forced out are registered voters? If they are did they even vote in the last election?
I think that if you do not vote you do not have the right to complain!!!
