What are everyones favorite brand and gauge strings? I used to play GHS TNTs, but nobody carries them locally anymore so I switched to GHS 9's or 10's depending on my mood.

I guess I could be considerd an "artist" (right after I'm considerd a hack!), and this is a question about my gear, so...OK!

            D'Addario 9-46 on my Charvel
DR Strings Tite Wounds of various heavier guages for down tuned recording. DRs are excellent strings, D'Addario's are just a lot cheaper for me.

me too, they are the perfect tension for bending.

                  Re: Favorite Strings

DR High Beam for humbuckers in bridge, DR Tite Fit for single coils, all 10-46. I've played them all and found these to be the best for me. In a pinch, I'll use Dean Markley Blue Steel.

                    Re: Favorite Strings

I usually use Dean Markley Blue Steel 11-52s, but I'm phasing them out because of fretwear, and just going to standard Dean Markley 11-52s.
