Ozzy's "Retirement Sucks" tour, and Damageplan, yep the Jack was flowin that night for the front row...got drunk..but no tea was in it..straight out of the bottle..and it was mean LOL
It's a tough fight between Children Of Bodom and Black Label Society.
Children of Bodom Headlined above Soil Work and Shadows Fall, soil work were gay.
I originally went to see Shadows Fall, but when i saw COB i was instantly blown away and have been a huge fan since then.
BLS was an awesome gig too. Me and my mates were all pissed before we went in and got to the front row where we saw Meldrum, hot girls and good tunes, loved them.
BLS just gave out such an atmosphere it was unbelieveable, every one felt as if every one in the room was a brother and sister and every one got on. Dimebag chants were shouted before and during BLS and Zakk looked like he was almost in tears.

World Piece Tour 1983...Iron Maiden, Saxon and Fastway. Maiden supporting "Piece of Mind" and Saxon supporting "Power and the Glory"....Fastway was good too.
Cool because they are still two of my favorites and I will see both this year..Maiden at Ozzfest and Saxon at H.O.B. in November.
the scorpions when they toured with whitesnake a couple of years ago, but seeing Edguy twice at progpower was pretty killer too. it's a toss up....the old pros vs. the new kids...i can't decide!!!!
GEAR:
some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!
some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!
and finally....
i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!
Wow some killer shows yo guys have seen. I know some of o will laugh but the best show i have ever seen is Stryper on the reunion tour last year at HOB in chicago tied with Van Halen OU812 (when eddie was still trying to be original and did new things) Motley Crue about 2 weeks ago at Tweeter center. Dream Theater/Megadeth Tweeter about two weeks previous or free. (I love my job at times.) The Who on the first fairwell tour. And Journey on the Frontiers tour. The first show i ever saw was Kiss at the old chicago stadium in 77 i think. Priest warmed up for them and got boo'd off the stage. Pretty funny when ya think about it.
Gil
Geeeeeesh almost forgot KISS and Priest Nassau Colisium Long Island
Priest where doing the Unleashed in the East tour. That was pretty awesome too
1) Metallica on the Black tour somewhere around '92/3 in Johnson City, TN.
2) Motley Crue this year in Greenville, SC. Front row seats and met the band. Killer experience the whole way!
3) Black Label Society in Winston Salem, NC April of this year. I damn near lost my mind when they played Fire It Up!
4) Cinderella in 2003 at Charlotte, NC and the next night in Greenboro, NC. Tom Keifer is totally bad assed talented! They blew Poison away both nights, and it's not that Poison put on a bad show either.
AND they are both touring together and will be here in September
Chris..stop rubbing it in...I didn't go to THERION
"Bill, Smoke a Bowl and Crank Van Halen I, Life is better when I do that"
Donnie Swanstrom 01/25/06..miss ya!
"Well, your friend would have Bell's Palsy, which is a facial paralysis, not "Balls Pelsy" like we're joking about here." Toejam's attempt at sensitivity.
Suicidal Tendencies....Seen them many times over the years and always a great time! Best was when Infectious Grooves opened and then Suicidal played. Wasn't expecting it...same guys different songs. Pretty Cool!
Van Halen supporting their 2nd album. Great time, they had to move the stage to the middle of the arena (because they couldn't sell 13,000 tickets). DLR commanded the stage...although his cheerleading moves freaked me out!
Pantera...again many times. Best time was 15 years or more ago in Pittsburgh. I had never seen stage diving like that before. Non-stop, 5 or more a time from the stage, flips from amps, all with the band helping and not missing a beat!!
Lastly, Rolling Stones Steel Wheels tour. Wasn't going to go see them because I figured they were too old and how good could it be...even though I have always been a huge Stones fan. Well...it was pretty stinkin' excellent! I would hesitate to see them again...even 15+ years older!!!
Randy on the Diary tour, Detroit 2/82
Yngwie Malmsteen, St. Andrews hall Detroit..85

Ted Nugent
Mr. Big at the Backstage (small club in Houston)

One of my favorites has to be Jackyl. I saw them at Ziggy's, which is a small bar that only holds 200-300 people. I was on the cage the whole time, and got to meet the band for pictures and autographs.
