Okay, here's the short version.

I won an auction for a guitar.

Seller doesn't take paypal.

I have to pay with American Express.

Can't pay for a money order with AMEX.

What are my options?

Can't do it Fett. I lost my pin number, and it will take 4-5 days for them to send me a new one.

Will your bank not let you charge a Cashier's Check with the AMEX card?

You can't use amex at your bank to get a cashier check? I never thought about that much...

Paypal the payment to someone you trust who will inturn send him a money order. Problem solved. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Call your bank and have a Cashier's Check drawn from your account and shipped to the guy.

So the problem is you have bought a guitar and you don't have the funds to get a M.O., cash advance from your credit card is a pretty pricy out, but might be your only option. AmEx is a terrible card, I refuse to pay any annual fees to any CC, VISA is the way to go

Ideally I would like to send the money to someone via Paypal, and have them send the money order for me, but I would need a volunteer.
