I was working last night moving a really big fridge. Whilst moving it and big piece of metal fell off the top and hit the top of my head and hit my wrist. It didn't give me much trouble after a while, but now when i move my hand around, it hurts a little. I really don't want to play guitar with my wrist as it is right now. What's a good way to get rid of the pain? any massage techniques? or would a painkiller just be good enough?

It's probably bruised. Rest is the best medicine. Wrap it up if it sore, take some Ibuprofen for pain and swelling. Give it at least a day.

If you can wiggle your fingers and flex your wrist without too much pain it should be OK. ":The doctor has left the building."
