  • Can you record anything from XM radio online?

Does anyone know if you can record a program from XM radio online? Is there a way to save to either hard drive or tape?

With my Cakewalk Guitar Tracks Pro software, I can record any sound coming out of my computer. Any recording software should work. You just select the appropriate input device.

    Good luck,

Hey Tx, did you get my other pm?

Anyway, I have cakewalk music creator and I tried to put a direct line into the sound card's input jack from the headphone jack on the front of the same pc. I got a huge screaming feedback. So, can it be done on the same pc using cakewalk? Ps...the reason I'm trying to accomplish this is because the Stryper concert is going to be broadcast on the boneyard tomorrow night!!!

Yes, I had to dig a little to find my mic settings. It had to be switched from Line In to "What U Hear".

If you recorded it, could you post it at e.g. www.yousendit.com?

By the way, does anyone know if it's possible to record radio via Sound Forge (6.0)?
