I just recently really started using a strap. I had no use for one as I never played live. Now I have one strap that is used on just about every guitar I have. I bought a strap from Moody Leather. It's very nice and comfortable.http://www.jacknapalm.com/ -

I have a specific strap for each guitar. They are all black nylon seatbelt type straps, but they are specific lengths, and the straplocks have to be the same color as the hardware on the guitar. I am weird.Comment

does leather stay on the shoulder better compared to nylon? my kv1 keeps sliding down and it gets annoying to reposition my guit every so often....Comment

I have never had a problem with the leather, then again, I usually play bare shouldered so that may have something to do with it. (shut up, I wear a tank top) [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]
The raw side of the leather has some grip to it so it holds on well. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]Comment

i use straps adjusted to each guitar. all the cheap ass $2 ernie ball ones.1+2 = McGuirk, 2+4 = She's hot, 6-4 = Happy McGuirkComment

i have color co-ordinated di'marzio clip lock straps for all my guitars.GEAR:
some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!
some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!
and finally....
i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!Comment

Leather preferred (as funds permit)

with over 20 guitars I only have about 4 straps and one stays on the V at all times because I hate adjusting lengths. With all the strats its easy just swapping straps because they all sit the same.shawnlutz.comComment
