I know all you guys missed me this past week. Ha ha (yea right).
I have been stuck in class getting certified to operate Cranes.
Four 8-hour days of cramming to learn operations and rules about Cranes, plus studying 4 hours each night at home.
Then we had a 100 question written test.
Then a 45 min practical test running an obstacle course.
I don’t know how all you Collage kids do it.
I haven’t studied so hard since I crammed for my Airframe Test 12 years ago.
I was running this P&H All-Terrain-Crane before the test, but California, State law requires a "State Certification" as of June 2005 to operate one now.
My company paid for all this so what the hell. It’s good to have.
Next month, they pay for me to attend a class in “Elevator Escape Procedures” in Florida.
No studying necessary for that one!
