  • RIP Lambert

Thanks to eveyone who responded to my earlier post about my dog's final days. Lambert went very peacefully on Monday with his family all holding him. We had a great final weekend and he actually seemed to be feeling a bit better those final days with all the extra love and attention that he received.
I really can't express how much I appreciate the kind words and support everyone showed...it really helped me get through one of the hardest things that I've ever had to deal with. Thanks again everyone.
A few more pictures of Lambert in his prime below:

      Re: RIP Lambert

I'm so sorry bro. I know all too well how it hurts. Wish there was something I could say that would make you feel better, but there isn't. I just know how you feel, and feel bad for you and your family and am sad that you have to feel like this right now.

He'll always be there with you my friend, just watch out for him and believe.

      Blessed be, RIP Lambert

But from you I know he was dearly loved and a wonderful family member who lived a wonderful life of love and joy your family gave to him and he gave to your family. I will keep you and yours in my prayers. RIP Lambert
                    Heres a poem:
"Beloved master, should the Great Master see fit to deprive me of my health or sight, do not turn me away from you. rather hold me gently in your arms, remembering sunny days and hours upon hours of play and companionship, and allow me the merciful boon of eternal rest, and I will leave you knowing with the last breath I drew, my fate was ever safest in your hands."

Hey dude, very sorry for your loss. I never had a dog (had a snake though), so I can't say I know exactly how you feel. Dog owners look at their pets as members of the family, so in that respect I'm very sorry about Lambert dude. But I'm sure he was happy to have ya'll around him when he went

                          Rupe:

Sorry to hear about your loss.

I will be facing this exact situation in the spring. I have pretty much decided that this winter will be the last for my family's beloved dachshund, as his age has caught up with him.

I have gone through this as well with other pets. It sucks, but buddies like Lambert are better for having known you.
