Re: New York JCFrs

This also can be a diversion..to another attack elsewhere.

Most likey these sources are just that..its all terror tactics..but the feds and local law enforcement agencies all know this...and prepare for this to the best of their abilities. Many attempted attacks has fumbled already since 911.

Sadly , its a fucking game...with humans on the chess board.

Funny how a little "racial profiling" can be a "good thing"..I know that thru my own experience . Four white kids cruisin' in the heart of the hood is up to NO good!

Believe me, that very thought has me concerned.

Todd that is and reality that we are trained for...but there is only so much we can do..presence and training is our ONLY diversion and prevention...honestly!

That was a old Die Hard movie sequal ..the one with Samuel L Jackson..

They can set a decoy to be purposely tie up emergency responders , just to attack several locations..

and it is a VERY well calculated a PRIMITIVE attack ..but devastating as was 911..they used our own resourses to put a hurtin' on us..we gave them the WOMDs..four 737s and only armed with platic shivs and knives..and the viciousness and dedication to kill..

they did that with mere pocket change while we are spending Trillions to attack them....they don't have to be PC...being PC is very expensive !!!

Actually, Flights 77 and 93 were 757s, but despite semantics, the meaning is there.

Bill, I am scared because it is possible that Chicago may get attacked. Scared because my wife works across the street from a suspected target. That same target is about 5 blocks away from my office. To top it off, we both use Chicago's public transportation system (the 2nd largest in the US, if not the world) extensively.

Well Todd , I certainly understand your concern. Hopefully this won't happen and local Police will be vigiliant enough to deter or prevent such a scenario..

Think positive man..Fear is what these dickheads thrive on..the terror we feel is exactly what they want.

We are spending so much money to prevent this..taking the war to them.

We kept the acts of war off our territory for over four years thru this war..so far , so good..we haven't got hit yet...and Allah sure wants to badly according to Jihad...so we are doing "something" right.

              It sucks.

                Re: New York JCFrs

I work in Manhattan, and take the subways every day. What evidently happened was about a dozen Al Qaeda guys were captured in Iraq on Tuesday, and upon *questioning* (ahem) two blurted out that there were 19 Al Qaeda operatives in NYC with bombs, and they were setup for suicide missions in the subways before the October 15th Iraqi constitutional elections. These guys were caught about 20 miles apart, didn't know each other or of each other, and were of the pants wetting 'please don't kill me you mean Americans' variety so the information was deemed Golden upon receipt. I told the guys who work for me to work from home if they have any problems or concerns. If I see a guy with a backpack make a funny move on my train so help me it'll take the rest of the train to pull me off him. I'll kill him with my bare hands laughing.

BTW, Chicago rules! What a great freakin' city. I love the steaks, I love the Goose Island beer, I love how clean the whole damn place is; I love Chicago. I was born and raised in the Bronx, have worked (and gigged) in Manhattan for decades, but I would move to Chicago in a heartbeat. A summer night drinking outside on the Navy Pier...man, I need another business trip!

Ya know dude, I've been to a lot of places, and almost everywhere is nicer than NY in a sense. The only thing NY has over em and the reason I'd never move is it's got it's own unique vibe. I go out and places close at round 12 on weeknights (Virginia, TX, FL), but in NY you can go to Manhatten at 3am and it's still kickin I might not have been going to the right places in those cities, but nothing sleeps in NY, and I love that. Strip clubs open at 1AM, bars close at 4AM (the one I frequent at least), 24 hour bodega's (sp?), it's the freakin best. Now WHY in god's name (pun intended) would ya wanna disrupt that kickass vibe? I say those terrorists should just kill themselves, go straight to hell or wherever they think they're goin and leave the rest of us to our strip club visiting, bar hoppin, ass kickin selves

Bars in NYC don't close at 4, they serve last round at 4 It's possible the reason I like Chitown so much was that I left the wife at home the last two times I was there
