Bullshit Endrik.

No better aggressive metal voice than MOP and AJFA. 'Singing' is a very subjective (to context) word.

As proven by (1) my utterly subjective statement in the former paragraph and your subsequent disagreement and (2) the case of Alexi Laïho's voice being perfect for his particular niche, in concreto, and the wider acceptance of said case as a general rule.

Hagar has a great rock voice and is a pretty damn good guitar player. Geddy Lee (yeah, bass, but keyboards, too), Vai does have a great voice even if he doesn't think so himself,

Hetfield isn't a great singer, he does metal very well but compared to vocal gods he is avarage at best. (actually was) I made myself clear that I want great singer, singer who has an awsome voice, range, character etc.

I was bustin egs with Uli..how could the best player in the wotld be that tone deaf while singing.

Alot of them have been mentioned already. John Sykes , Phil Lynott , Gary Moore , Frank Marino , John Norum is OK singer , Dave Meneketti )get his solo stuff , Ritchie Kotzen actually has a great voice , Tom Englund , Jeff Pilson is decent , better than Don IMO, Paul Gilbert is capable , Pat Lackman (Halford/Damageplan) can shred and sing but never together , Joe Cameau but never together (Annihilator / Overkill) , Chris Amott sings Great in his own band Armageddon (awesome) , Marco of Nightwish in his own band Tarot..

Then you have dudes that I know you won't like but great in their style , Akerfeldt , Shuldiner , Alexi Laiho , Ron Royce of Coroner..to name a few

It amazing me that Uli has perfect ear and pitch when he plays guitar but is so tone deaf when he sings..

I think his best example is ff Tokyo Tapes when he sings "Polar Nights"..AWESOME song but always made me laugh when he starts singin'.. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]
