Chicago is truly Johnny's element. When Emmis Communications purchased The Loop here in Chicago (the Radio station, wlup, not the central business district), they felt that Johnny was best in LA. He simulcast here for a while, but he just couldn't maintain the audience.

I'm glad he's back! He was part of the golden age of Chicago radio and The Loop.

Oh, a bit of advice for everyone. Never drink anything while reading a list of "Buzz' Porn Emporium" titles. You run the risk of that drink coming out of your nose..

Dave seemed really tame on Howards show today. I don't think it's going to be anything like "Dave TV" from the videos that we're expecting.

Too bad I won't be able to give it a shot, again, I don't think it's going to be like that. I'm telling ya, Dave was not on 10 like he normally was. Maybe he realized that this level of flamboyance was off-putting.

I don't think he really cares. I met Dave a couple years ago after a show and he makes Gene Simmons seem humble. I heard a couple people say on Stern today that they can only take Dave in small doses. We'll see. I will for sure give him a chance.

Here in DC, we are getting The Junkies, who started off as a sports-talk show a few years back called the Sports Junkies. They were a big hit on the night shift around here, but I don't think they've done as well in other slots. Basically, they are just four local guys who grew up together and talk about general crap--can be pretty entertaining at times.
