[/ QUOTE ] If it were any way close to "Real". The Hemi engine would sell for more than the whole car. If this was a Barracuda, I would say it stinks like a fish.

Even for a bastardized one, that is unusually cheap. I see stuff like taht going for 15k easy out this way. Probably more considering what it seems to be and what he has to go extra with it.

Sounds odd for the dough...

It "looks" really nice and clean in the pics. That hood has to go though. And, there is something not quite right about the engine.

Everyday, I drive by a lot that has classic cars in the lot. They are sooooo pretty. Nice new paint; shiny rims and all the rest. I would not touch them with a ten foot pole. If you think classic guitars are a "Buyer Beware". you ought to see these cars. What a racket.

I don't see any pics, but based on the description, the guy is full of it to say the least.
The 440 alone would cost over $5,000.00 regardless of the rest of the car.

[/ QUOTE ] A K-Code Mustang 289 will get that easy. A "real Hemi" would do the same. The seller is pipe dreaming, The only thing 440's did was leak oil around the valve covers that would leak on the exhaust manis. [/ QUOTE ] Guys, this car with the dual quad Hemi, even though not original, would go for a minimum $30,000 and up. The engine is probably a $12,000 affair and that is on the low side.

The car as a roller in that condition, even with the wrong hood, is worth a really good buck. My guess as a roller would be $15,000 at the low end.

This ebay account has been inactive for about a year, and all of a sudden he is selling a Hemi Charger? Oh behave.....
