It's rained for like 7 straight days. [img]/images/graemlins/sick.gif[/img] I tried going upstate NY this past weekend to try and escape, didn't work. [img]/images/graemlins/eviltongue.gif[/img]
I live on the water here in Jersey and last night was the worst. The wind was whipping and the rain was pounding. They're not calling for a letup until Saturday,....by then we'll need canoes.
I imagine Delaware is getting it too. Thats a beautiful place down there. My wife and I always stop on the Delaware shore, on our way to VA Beach. I imagine with all this rain, erosion is gonna be a problem.

Yeah, I'm up on a hill, but the creek a couple hundred yards west of me is over the road. I had to crawl through it last night on my way home from dialysis. It was up to the bottom of the door jams. A couple streets in Watertown were flooded as well. Lifted Toyota 4x4 here, too. No worries!
My basement is flooding big. I have 3 55 gallon garbage pails under my gutters that are overflowing. I emptied them 10 times on Saturday alone. They have been filling up in around 4 hours in the last few days. Last night after band practice I spent a few hours breaking up water damaged furniture in my basement. My backyard looks like a pond. The ground is completely saturated and the water just sits on top now. To top it off, I have to walk 1/2 mile to the train station from where I park my car and then 2 miles to my job once the train drops me off. I bought a full rainsuit yesterday because its too windy to use an umbrella. This sucks.
Flooding here also, but on an island it doesn't take much to get it started. There's a bit of a break during low tide, but not much. Non stop rain and wind for days.
