Hell yeah, it is beautiful.
So are the women. EVERY single girl I've ever been attracted to , or have been with have been Italian, with the exception of one swedish and one german.

I heard that sometimes in Emgland crime is like...
Hooligans just knocked over a dustbin in Shaffsbury. Bobbies are en route to detain these heinous criminals for their crime.

Just kidding. I went to NYC for first time this year and while it was not scary, it was not a place I'd like to live. I get the feeling London would be more of the same.

I work with a guy from England - can't understand a f'n word he says. Great gut, but I have to get a Chinaman or Indian to translate!

I used to live in England and loved it. I lived outside London, near Windsor Palace, in a town called Sunningdale. Nice area, in the country, but very easy to shoot into London either by car or train. I also worked in Paris and Munich. If you get a chance to spend some time over there, go for it. It's a great experience.

Re: Thinkin of leavin the states....

I agree that you should go by yourself first to see if you like it and then send for your family. It will be hard on you kids either way. Heck, moving from a different city within the US can be hard on kids so I'd expect it would be harder on them being in a totaly different country. If your kids are of school age its just something to consider. I personnaly don't like a lot of the BS in this country but there isn't any place in the world I'd rather be...well maybe Sweden

Re: Thinkin of leavin the states....

I lived in Australia for 4 years. It was awesome. Surfing, beaches, great cities, really chill work ethic, lots of drinking, I could go on and on. I don't know why I ever left. You can have dual citizenship with the U.S. as well. Too bad you're married...lol.

Although I toy with the idea of going back, I've been thinking about Cabo, because otherwise my kids would never see their grandparents.

Don't get me wrong...I love the U.S., but other countries really seem to have it together with regards to work/life balance. I'm for hard work and all, but I don't like the presumption that I'm available 24/7 and that my taking a vacation would be a great inconvenience to the company, and crap like that.

What we need is a JCF member exchange program. If someone wants to visit someplace in another country, have a JCF member in the area help them find a place to stay for a while, show them around etc..
