Shipping an amp and cab to the UK from canada! HEL

Hey guys

I just wanted to know if anyone from Canada on here knows a good courrier to ship an amp and 4x12 cabinet to the UK?
it doesn't matter if it will take 4 to 6 weeks, I just need to know as UPS is only offering a certain service!

Did you try Purolator? They have shipped numerous guitar to Europe for me, but I have never tried a cabinet. www.purolator.com

I just punched in UPS for 100LBs from the US to the UK and it was $318 Worldwide Expedited and that was without dimensions which could add to it.

I just had someone asking about shipping a cab in one of my auctions, and I found the same results as OnlineStageGear. The weight and size throws it into the $350 range.

actually, as silly as it sounds. GROUND is an option (or how they designate it in that price range

I sent a guitar GROUND to new Zealand via canada post. Took 2 and a half months [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] Price was 1/4 of sending via air though.

For 2 and a half months, I wouldnt doubt they wait till she freezes over and walk it over by sleigh :o

If you do "Ground" international it will take every bit of the 4-8 weeks to get there (they actually send it by freight ship) and then you have to take into account how long it will take Customs to do thier thing till it is finally available for delivery.
