The section on jcguitars with "stars guitars" seems like a bit of [img]/images/graemlins/bs.gif[/img] . He has a red Charvel that he claims Steve Vai used in the movie Crossroads. That Charvel is not even close to the one on screen (has white pickguard,no black pointy headtock). And Steve has said that he used his green Charvel to record that soundtrack. Hey, I have a EBMM that used to be owned by Eddie Van Halen. No really. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

From what I remember, Justin states that the guitar was seen on a stand behind Vai during the filming....

The thing about gbase is that sometimes you do a search and see something you like, consequently you contact the dealer and he tells you that piece has been gone for months.
I've had dealers tell me to go to their site, and sure as hell, the guitar is gone!!
But somehow gbase still shows it, WTF!? aren't they linked?
