Tenderloin(filet)-No other way to fly-always how I judge steaks at a rest- There is this little hole in the wall in Moscow Idaho that you order by thicknes 1",1.5" or what I have the 2" -my favorite
Second is sirloin the only thing is that since they are so lean making them great at home requires spices or a marinade
ribeye, sirloin, porterhouse, t-bone, filet mignon (2 if they're really small like a hamburger).
NY Strips are ok - too small for a meal, though. Maybe for a sammich or some sort of snack.
And Well-Done for me please - too much risk of catching something with all that undercooked insides.

Nothin like a nice porterhouse with a little sea salt,crushed garlic and worstechire sauce..
But my FAVORITE food is Pork Ala Steve...
Pork tenderloin marinated with orange marmilade,soy sauce and cillantro...Grilled to perfection...Pure heaven....
Bon Jovi is like a frozen Coca Cola.. It's cool, it's crunchy, but when all is said and done it is still pop....
It depends on where I go for it. At Steve's I always get the t-bone. If I go to Alexis I get the porterhouse.
I always order them medium. I haven't liked steak rare since I was a kid.

We raised a bunch of calves on bottles when I was a kid, and my cousin who was visiting from the "big city" gave one the name "Sweetums", as luck had it, he got really big and fat and when it came time to pick a beef for the freezer you know who got the nod, I remember chowing down on a big fat bloody Porterhouse and calling her up to tell her how delicious Sweetums is, she was pissed off at me for years, LOL,,, kids can be so cruel,, that was my favorite steak

Because otherwise you might as well just eat a hamburger? Cooking a steak well done is a fucking crime, it absolutely, completely ruins the taste of the meat and defeats the entire purpose of eating a good cut of steak. Why not just boil the thing until it is grey?
