Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright, that God may love thee. Speak the truth always, even if it leads to your death. Safeguard the helpless and do no wrong.
i knew i should not have opened this thread. you two can go fuck yourselves. you have no idea of the complexity of a military operation. go play armchair general somewhere else.

[/ QUOTE ] Well, I was trying to contain myself Buzzy, but thank you for stating what Tommy and I were fuming about.

i've been trying to keep out of stuff lately and stick to the comical and gear related stuff. my spouting off adds nothing to the board. i've been there and i know what's involved in pulling off even a small op and it's a lot of work!
hmmm diplomacy.... noone is doubting the ability of american troops or the running of a military operation - its just obvious to SOME outsiders that american troops do tend to be a lot more 'gung ho' in the way they go about doing things and invariably cause more casualties than they need to. no one is being anti american , but this one of a couple of aspects about the conduct of troops (tho not solely US) that has been discussed quite alot over here because a lot of people weren't happy about the war in the first place and have understandably jumped on things like this at the first chance...
Well those brits sure can tell the difference between terrorists and local train comuters can't they?
Chill out, It's war and mistakes will be made.On the other hand, iraq now has a constitution, and elections.Germany took 10 years or more to get back on track.France still aint right from WW2 .
During combat being shot at by the enemy is part of the game. Being shot at by friendly forces is one of the worst feelings in the world. I understand where they are coming from and we do need better ways of identifying friendlies. The U.S. Amry and British troops are testing out new methods. We seem to be the ones creating the most friendly fire incidents, on our troops and other countries. We also have the most forces in the region. It's bound to happen.
What a couple of fucking assholes. I made post to thank our troops after we hit a terrible milestone and a couple of dickheads have to go shit the thread up with their dumbass remarks. Fuck you!
I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.
dudes chill out - not everyone has to be happy with America for fucks sake - its not a crime and a'vieled insult' - aren't we allowed to be concerned about the fact that a great proportion of our troops have been shot by you??!?!
