The only one worth a damn is Mueller. And he will sign if the Sox want him. Millar blows dead bear and Johnny can't throw and thinks he's gods gift to the team. Take both please.

meuller, millar and damon are free agents this year i believe

Not to take anything away from Damon, cause he did have a good year, but the Yanks better "not" go after him.
He's fast, can hit good, but throws a baseball like a grenade.
Hell, we might as well keep Bernie. Bernie has a sucko arm, but he makes Damon look like an uncoordinated left-handed girl when he throws.
I'd take Millar, cause I like class clowns and he's probably one of the biggest reasons the Red Sox had 'fun' last year. Don't care for Mueller,....we have Alex, the AL MVP!

Not as this comes as a surprise to me but you obviously didn't keep up with what went on with the Sox last season. The season before I'll give him. This year he sucked. And made quite a few comments about the team, and some of it's members in particular, to vent over it. I'd take Mueller over Mr. Personality any day of the week. At least he's a team player. And former AL batting champ as well. And even if they don't get Mueller they have Kevin Youkulis. Can you say farm system? Oh that's right you can't.

Tough to say farm system and first place in the same sentence, so I'll say lots of money and first place.

By last year, I meant when the RedSox were successful, not this year when they collapsed.

i mean the days of homegrown guys have wilted just a tad you know. the yankees have guys that are homegrown to the day. i don't care either way. i want a ring.
First place? That was won by a pair of socks again this year. Not red ones. But the Yankees weren't second either. Last standing on the field is first place. And they weren't blessed with the money either our teams dish out. As a matter of fact I'd say the Red Sox failed this year because it went to their head. Isn't that almost instantanious the minute you become a player for the Yankees? I bet A-Rod sure didn't think he'd be seeing the final game of the world series because he was there for his Latino players award. Getting back to basics and playing the game seems to be the way to win the world series. I sure hope the Sox clean house of the "I bring it" hollywood attitudes. I want to watch Red Sox baseball not Guiding Light.
