Re: THE HOT STOVE THREAD FOR WINTER

Who the hell unplugged the hot stove? Come on this is the lamest hot stove talk to date. Forget the Sox and Yanks free agents. What about the guys that both teams will no doubt go after. Like BJ Ryan or Konerko. Not to mention the holes in the starting rotations that need filiing.

Chances are neither the Sox or the Yanks will see Konerko. And he's from New England too. Where's the love. lol He wants the West coast. He probably lives right next door to you Tommy. He'll be a Beverly Hills Angel next year.

Yeah I don't think he's going anywhere. They won't gain anything by trading Manny. Who would replace his bat? Hell he can't catch but he has the most outfield assists this season in the AL. You hear a rumor about Matsui being pissed at the offer the Yankees floated by him?

                1+2 = McGuirk, 2+4 = She's hot, 6-4 = Happy McGuirk

And I think Wells couldn't take the boo's from his former following. He wants out of Boston on a trade.

cool, yeah Karl Malone was awesome, too bad he didn't get his ring...however good him and Stockton was, nobody could stand a chance against MJ in his prime...bad timing actually

yes Lasse Kjus has kept very good form over the years, especially considering he is in his late 30's now. Herman Maier will probably have trouble getting fully recovered from that bike accident a couple of years ago, but I have much respect for him for getting back to competing when he could've just given up and retired like most people would've done in his shoes...seeing that he's already won so much.

i still say he's not a good outfielder.

the out field and the pen and pitching in general is a big problem for my stripes. the infield is fine.

even in softball for the localbar that's scary sounding.

Hey did anyone besides myself and my wife catch it when Tim McCarver said "That almost hit our hotel room" during a deep homerun in game 3 of the world series? I knew those two slept together. lol
