Re: Welcome to my Hell!!!!!!!
Fame would be nice, money would be cool, and free gear from endorsements would be awesome, but I never got any of that and always had a ball on stage anyway. I remember once about 10 years ago my wife yelling "Turn that shit DOWN!" in my direction at a bar gig in the Bronx when we were just tuning up, and it was pretty funny (then and now). The crowd certyainly liked it. I loved being onstage, it was an honor and a privilege to me. There's always been guys who were better than me, it ain't all that hard! But I always had fun. I thought we might have a little chance when we were opened for The Ramones back in the day (My baby she's a go-getter, she's a trendsetter, she's a bedwetter dahdahdahdah dahdahdahdah.. lol) but I never regretted a day or a chord or aack of recognition. Like I said, I always though it was an honor that people paid their hard earned money to see us, and I treated it with as much respect as I could muster, sober or mostly so. I wish to hell I was playing tonight!
