    Learning to play Harmonica

    I want to play harmonica!
    Why?
    Because it is badass.

    Anyone here who can play? Care to share some tips and whatnot.

    Mick Jagger played some bad ass Harmonica last night, I tried when I was like 12. It was to complicated for me. I'm a Drummer so If I can't beat shit, there's just no fun it [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

              I used to have an old Porsche ('68 911) with the original radio that worked occasionally. So I used to keep a couple harmonicas in the door pocket and play during long trips. I was pretty badass with "Heart of Gold" and "Piano Man", but that was about the extent of my repertoire. John Popper I'm not. It must have made for a funny sight, though, for people driving past me.

                  dude speaking of harmonicas, I'm going to see Blues Travler on Saturday. Yeah, I know they aren't the hardcore rocker stuff like most of you like, but they kick ass in their own right. And man, Popper kicks ass!

                    It's actually rather easy to play the harp. The hard part is to get your mouth, lungs and hands to get the "music" out of it. Just watch videos of the good harp players. Most of them just blow chords. And when they do single notes, it is like whistling. I have lots of harps laying around rusting and waiting for me to practice what I preach. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
                    I am a true ass set to this board.
