damn the bastards!!!!! that sucks, i hear ya too , i just got an rack power amp from Alan and he had it bublle wraped in a box and that box packed with foam and all kinds of shit , in another box,,no differnt than i would have shipped one, and it got tho me with 2 bent rack ears and a broken tube [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] . i think they get lazy, and if its a little heavy or awkward or whatever, they take it out on the package for making them work a little, and how dare we ship something that might require some sort of effort [img]/images/graemlins/eviltongue.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/eviltongue.gif[/img]

well, I think it was packed ok, it looks like something was thrown on top of it, smaller but heavier and didn't hit the sides of the box, just set on the large flat side.... I don't know man, it just sucks! I just bought a new amp yesterday and brought it down waiting for this axe! Least i got 02 here with me.... ( I'm sort of living at Lake of the Ozarks now with the new company and have nothing here...

Stuka, I don't know, dude. I shipped a GMW in a G&G case to a forum member here and it sustained major case damage near the headstock, but the bubble wrap saved the guitar. A little effort can go a long way.

The especially sad part is that it could have been an older irreplaceable guitar for all they knew. How do they know they're not throwing around a 59 goldtop or something. Those assholes need to be taught a lesson.

The headstock didn't need to be padded, the whole guitar should have been secured in the case so it couldn't move. It slid in the case, and that's what took the headstock off.
