I just saw Crossroads for the first time today, and just... wow.

Hey, I still haven't seen the movie yet. I just downloaded the clip of the guitar soloing, that's bout it. Very badass playing there. Kinda forgot how it goes though, I haven't seen it in about a year

He played a red SD Charvel, if I remember correctly.

Yeah it was some kind of pointy head-stock 22fret superstrat, probbaly a SD, yeah.

Vai and karate kid tear it up! [img]/images/graemlins/notworthy.gif[/img] and the facial expressions of Vai almost as entertaining as the playing [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Apparently he wouldn't drop the real SD so they gave him a prop. The body split and it is in some Hard Rock somewhere.

Also, if you look in the background you will see a strathead SD with a promo oversized logo...that used to be Eric Johnson's guitar.

I need that movie on DVD...haven't seen it in years.
