    King's X show tonight !!

    Hey folks,

    I'm wondering if anyone is planning on going to see King's X tonight in NYC? They're playing @ what used to be the Limelight; It's now called The Rock N' Roll Church (click the link...) If anyone is going, post here.....I'll buy you a beer tonight !!!!!! [img]/images/graemlins/toast.gif[/img]

    They are great live. I saw them open for Living Color in 1991. Great show.

      i have had a lot of fun in that church, and that's a great band. enjoy the show ken.

          Oh man, they never come anywhere near here. The few King's X shows I have seen were near religious experiences for me. Doug Pinnick is my all time favorite bass player and Ty takes some of the most beautiful solos I have ever heard.

            Saw them on their first, or one of their first tours with Hurricane. Also saw them 2 or 3 years ago. They played for close to 3 hours! Ty is a funny guy if you get to meet him. Have fun at the show.

                Thanks guys,I will !!!! (no pics though...sorry). My best calculation is this will be approx. the ~20th time I've seen these guys! They are absolutely my favorite current band. Nothing but great things to say about pretty much everything they've done. YOU ALL MUST GET THE NEW ALBUM!!!!!! I can't wait for the show!!!!!!

                  some fun and unholy things used to go on in that place, haven't been there since '91 during a christmas visit.
                  is it still a zoo?

                    Saw them Tues night - great set even though Doug had some in-ear/mix issues
                    Their TM/Merch guy/Light guy was on tour with me for the Caffery run....
                    If anyone goes, buy Ray a drink !
