Not directly, but Ron (RacerX) did kick him in the ass in my honor at NAMM 2 years ago....so even though I couldn't have been there to share in the blessed event, I still got a good chuckle out of it! [img]/images/graemlins/poke.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Wait a minute... Every time someone posts about this event, I feel the need to clarify.

Let's not blow this one out of porportion... Ron kicked him in the butt. But while he did literally "kick his ass" posting it that way makes it look like Ron gave him a royal beat-down. After seeing what kind of shape that ER is in, and seeing the size of Ron, he'd have to be a pretty malicious person (and pathetic) to beat ER down.

While I didn't totally agree with the "butt kicking", let's not make Ron out to be the scourge lame geriatric leprechauns world-wide.

I ordered 6 gold in line LSR tuners and a set of 3 a side black LSR tuners - so 12 tuners in total.

I got all the tuners. I got the correct spacers. But (there's always a but), they sent me 4 gold and 4 black screws. D'oh! I called the parts guy up on Saturday and he sounded pretty embarrassed. He was going to send out the screws on Monday. We'll see [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Well I've bought 3 guitars from Ed's place. I got smokin deals on all 3. I've bought lots of parts from them and they are in line with everyone else as far as prices go, maybe a few bucks more but if I were to buy it online then I would have to pay that in shipping. The sale guys are friendly and helpful and I have talk to Ed a few times. I don't care about his opinions so I don't ask for them.

His shop on the other hand is a bunch fucking morons that I wouldn't let fix me a bologna sandwich let alone another one of my guitars. I can't tell you how poorly the setups are or when you ask for something specific to be done such as filing a nut the asshole will crank on the truss rod then hand it back to you saying it's fixed.

I only live a few miles away so he can't give me any shit or I will drive down there and bust his balls.
I will continue to buy stuff from them but never ever have any work performed by the shop.

I never did let y'all know what happened. Sure enough the dumbass never sent the screws. I called back. It was like talking to Cheech and Chong. Anyhow it came out that they don't have the black screws and that they were on order from LSR (more on that in a moment). So I said to send me the gold screws at least. Sure. No problem. A week goes by. No screws either. So I called LSR and they said send them a buck to cover the screws and shipping and they'd get them right out to me. They sent them before recieving my dollar. Pretty cool. They asked where I got them from and when I said Ed Roman he said "figures". Then I told them how the folks at ER's said they had placed an order for the screws - the LSR dude said this was pure BS. Surprise. So I call ER's again and give the parts dude an earful. He sent me four gold screws. Brilliant.
