    I never get tired of...

    I never get tired of listening to Michael Schenker.
    He such a soulful and expressive player.
    I was watching 1981 boot of the rockplast show.
    This particular show, he is on, definitely enjoyable.

    I could list a dozen other players...
    Schenker never gets boring or old to me, just straight up great playing every time.

    Whose yours?

    I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

      I have that same vid, really fun to see that as I saw him for the first time in concert around then..about 1980. I came in late and he was just starting lost horizons as the final song.

        For me it's Schenker, Lifeson, Albert King and Eric Johnson. I can never get enough of playing like that. I caught Schenker a couple years back for his Written in the Sand tour and was blown away. I really wish he could keep it together for more than half a tour, but at least I was one of the lucky ones that got him for a great performance. I had to go home afterwards and look at my guitar closely to see where he was getting all those great notes I can never seem to find myself.

          I claim to be a huge Blackmore fan and will state to anyone that he is MY guy.


          BUT


          I listen to Schenker more than I listen to ANYONE or ANYTHING else.


          I agree 110% with everything you say.

          He is just freaking ENJOYABLE to listen to.

          For example....I listened to the 4 Acoustic THANK YOU CDs over and over this week. 3 or 4 times each, then switched.

                I could listen to these guys all day: Adrian Smith, Richie Sambora, Randy Rhoads, Warren DeMartini, Paul Gilbert and Vito Bratta...

                      you're not the only one bro. Schenker and those UFO records are the reason I picked up the guitar in the first place and he is a big part of why I still play today at 41.

                      even when his life is all fucked up (which seems to be most of the time these days unfortunately) he still plays amazing. no one can touch his feel and sense of melody.
