This forum is a metaphor for life. Old people leave, new ones enter the picture.

Welcome to the fun, brutha!

Re: JCF Newbie introduction

Thanks for all the welcomes... seems like a cool place. I love that there are a lot of heavy music fans here, most of the other boards I frequent are way more concerned with clean tone and boutiquey stuff... and I'm usually scratching my head.

I was just reading the "Ask Jackson" area, and noticed the two threads on Adrian Smith guitars. I've often thought about doing a Warmoth replica of the one of those white ones. Probably like a lot of you, Adrian's leads were (and still are) some of my favorite from the era.

Other than that, a solist and a RR1 (?) are two that I'm interested in adding to my arsenal.

NotP - I understand since I've done numerous (some very high dollar) transactions on other boards. It is always a bit unsettling when the person answering your ad has 2 posts. Luckily for me I've only had one sour transaction (4 years ago on HC - I got burned) and everything else has been flawless. I avoid HC like the plague.

two more of my guitars...
5150 replica that I built (Kramer body, Warmoth neck)

JCFer Neilli has an awesome GMW Adrian Smith Jackson Strat replica. I myself am too poor to afford yet another guitar. But Adrian kills and his vibrato technique is excellent.
