Juan Gabriel trips on stage, concussion, broken

Broken wrist too. Just minutes into his performance last night. He tripped over his own two feet while doing a dance move and he went flying backwards off the stage. I can't find any footage other than what I saw on T.V. but is was pretty scary and funny at the same time...

ouch man..that had to smart..at first I thought the mic cord kinda had a little effect here but he just got a little to 'into it', in a way it is a little humorous but it is just an embarassing klutz moment..eh, even Roth broke his ankle.

I work in a place that has predominent Hispanic workforce so I get exposed to a good deal of this music wise...

I'm rather liking Maná tho..their singer sounds kinda like a cross between Sting and somebody else I can't find the name for off the top of my head. Their guitar players are quite good and play with a lot of fire for a pop band.

Course, its torture when one of the guys brings in a Slayer cd.

Juan Gabriel has a house in Juarez Mexico, so he is always in the El Paso area where I grew up. I have a friend who worked in for a real eststate company and was helping to show Juan houses in El Paso, so he gave his home number to him. he would call up my friend every now and then and try to get him to come "visit" him. It's funny because the guy is clearly gay, but all the women in the audience still treat him like a sex idol, throwing bras and panties on stage. Also if you want to make fun of his music, remember this guy can sell out 15000 + seat arenas all day long everyday(and has been doing it for decasde). He is hugely popular with a stupid loyal fan base.
