What recording setup do you use?

curious as to what you guys find most useful ...?
I have windows and mac setup, Cubase / logic ...
I get hung up with drum tracks...bought a korg Triton to help, but I end up spending too much time fiddling with stuff instead of writing and recording...

Logic Pro 7 is all I ever need.

If the Triton has built-in drum pattern presets, duplicate them in a MIDI editor, then tweak them to suit your taste.
Connect to the Triton via MIDI and control the drums from there. That keeps you from fiddling with the synth too much.
