On one hand I can see it, on the other, I can't, because prices of old hardware will start dropping soon to boost sales. I would ask "how can you NOT have a PS2 or Xbox already?" but I know there's still a few people that are behind the times [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/poke.gif[/img]
Backwards compatability usually results in either the new hardware being held back from what it SHOULD be, or (as with the 360) software-based emulation which puts a further burden on the hardware and still doesn't look as good.
