x-mas is all about my son this year(not that it wasnt before)

I am looking forward to having the time with him and getting him something that will blow his mind. He was the inspiration to better my life, so i could provide him all theings a kid needs to be successful.Without him, i'd still be at my old job, wondering why nothing good ever happens to me.Now, i grab life by the horns(not yours bilL)and life is good.If I want good things to happen to me, i have to work for them.Thats life.

YES I went off last night...Yes I did...YES I damn well did..SORRY ADMINS..but I got 20 PMs thanking me for it...First of all NO need to slam any person's holy holiday and or Christians..if I can bite my tongue ANYONE can!

I turned this around..that was MY intenetion...if you want to vent ..venting can go BOTH ways..two sides to the coin...and I like my side beter...because it's the "happy" side.

Some vented their way and I vented my way..it was MY reaction to a action.

All I know is my kid will be happy on Christmas morning..I'm buying him a Guitar and all kinds of stuff.. he grew out of his mini strat..I'll drop about a grand on the kiddies for Christmas...my nephews too! [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Vinny's 11 now..I may as well treasure this while I can..

Again I state, if people wanna vent about their ill Christmas, let them vent and SHUT THE FUCK UP, or at least oppose it with some couth. What no one can vent but you? Let people say their peace without verbally accosting them with threat of oral sex.

My Christmas will suck and there ain't a thing I can do about it. Can't drive away from it. It's just gonna suck. Oh well I'll get over it. It would just be nice to jokingly bitch about it (Like we were) without someone having a fit.

I'm not taking this personally, I'm looking at it as a whole.

I posted oin the thread and PMed Bill too. I mentioned to him that you've been sick for a couple of weeks and that might influence your mood. BTW, remember Bill lives in pain too, but has to try and see the bright side. He probably feels if he can deal with that very tangible pain, others can deal with their cranky girlfriends or whatever else is really bugging them during the holidays.

You should try coming down here and just living life for a week. Of only 2 major east-west corridors, one is still out 3 months after the storm. Only 1/4 of the debris has even been trucked off. But people are glad to be alive even though they're still paying $1,000 mortgages on bare slabs. Now THOSE are things to be bummed about. Mall Santas and Salvation Army bellringers? Not really.

Save it for a real crisis, is my advice.

I don't take away from from the tragedy down south for sure Rich. When you think of that, most of our BS is miniscule.

But I guess, you can always do that I guess. Your situation there is awesome compared to some 3rd world nations situation etc etc...

Nonetheless just the thought of that grounds me a lot.

But, everyones problems are THEIR problems, and are important to them.

We're IN a 3rd world situation and will be for years, but I get your point. Still, why resign yourself that the next 6 weeks are gonna suck? Your kid is gonna pick up on that dude. Want his Christmas to suck because you've decided to let it suck? That won't make you feel any better. It's not fair to your son.

I have plenty of good reasons to eat a gun, dude, but I try to carry on. I don't know your issues, but put them in perspective and don't spend the next months miserable.
