  • Guitar Pro 5.

Having been using this for years, and need it as an integral part of my home studio, i decided to finally buy a guitar pro release. I felt a bit bad having pirated it for like 3 years, and well, i'm glad i did, holy shitting christ. GP5 owns GP4 by miles!

I just upgraded yesterday and had been using 4 for a while. A decent improvement. I am not sure I like the RSE technology yet. There are some improvements that should have just been released with a version 4 patch I think.

I got it too but. One thing that sucked is when I opened a composition I made with GP4 a lot of the time signatures changed. I dread redoing it but...

Oh, I noticed the new drum sounds are much quieter.

Thanks for the heads-up... I've been using Guitar Pro 3 and 4 for a long time now. I'll have to keep an eye out for GP5.

You can still use the regular midi bank...It seems to have more attack. the sound are very cool though.

Has anyone else had any time signature issues importing GP4 into the new GP5?
