Once again, I shall recommend signing up at the amazing forum over at www.spywarewarrior.com. Do a search to find out if Spytrooper is affecting other users, and then post a topic in the right area with as many details as you can.
They helped me to get rid of the nasty Aurora/Nail malware, and I'm STILL learning a lot about spyware prevention just by reading other people's posts. -

I use Spybot: Search and Destroy.... no idea if it's actually any good or not, but it came highly recomended, and it's free!Popular is not the same as good
