You have to presume that because that is exactly what the question states. Speed is measured in distance traveled over a specific time. The speed of the airplane, not the wheels. The problem is, speed really has nothing to do with the equation. Even if you confused it for wheel speed or any other speed it doesn't matter. You have to look at it as two opposing forces and whether they are equal or not and they are not. When you see it for what it actually is, it becomes very simple.Comment
