How long for response from ebay seller?

    How long for response from ebay seller?

    I hit the BIN two days ago for this PowerBlock, paid immediately with PayPal, haven't heard anything yet from the seller even though I sent him emails through ebay and paypal and his regular email address. He's only got a feedback score of 5, but it's perfect. Maybe I'm just being paranoid and he's been busy and hasn't been online for a couple days. How many days should I wait for a response from the guy?

    Dont forget it was the holiday weekend too.

    Last time I hit the BIN w/immediate pay, the seller never said a word for a week and then about 5 days later the guitar showed up just perfect.

      Good point. I guess I should give it about a week and try not to be so impatient. Though, he did start the auction on Saturday and I won it on Sunday.
      And I have been watching quite a few horror movies lately. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

        Nothing drives me more nuts than crappy communication. If they offered a BIN, and it was used, 24 hours max. Don't start a auction if you are not going to be around to monitor it. In this day and age, even if your on vacation, how are you not able to check your emails, or have acces to the internet?

          Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. He should be a little more on the ball, but who knows what he's doing.

            I start sending lots of emails if I don't hear something from the seller within 24-48 hours. I think it is B.S. to for a seller to not acknowledge the purchase and at least provide some basic communication over email within a day.

              I agree totally. But, I'm anal about my auctions and communications with buyers.

                I am too, John. I always get in contact quick. Seems to make things go alot more smooth.

                  I buy more than I sell, but I usually get in quick contact either way.

                    I tend to wait until the buyer threatens legal action before I send anything.
                    I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

                            I had the opposite problem.
                            I put something up for auction and stated clearly that payment was due within 24 hours of the auction ending.
                            I sent the winning bidder multiple invoices and even gave him a few days. Nothing.
                            So I shoot him some neg feedback and re-list... Sold and shipped to new buyer.
                            A week after the original auction ended, the original buyer emails and says "sorry dude, I was out of town but I can pay you next week." WTF?!?!

                            I'm still trying to get my fees back from ebay for the original auction. It's only $3 and some change, but now the dickwad (original buyer) is trying to dispute it because I left him negative feedback.

                              I get a little pissed too. I did a BIN on an item on the Nov 19th, paid that same day and never heard a thing from the seller yet.
