My wife needs a list of five DVDs or so to get me for Christmas. Almost aything from the rock/metal genre would do. I already have some stuff from the WHO, Zeppelin, Maiden, Rage, Queensryche, Slayer, etc., but any suggestions would be appreciated.

Johnny B's current radio show does not feature Buzz Killman, news man - blues man, anymore. Man, reading that list back I can just hear Johnny B. in my mind's ear reading and laughing at these titles.</font>Occupy JCF

I have all those already TEKKY. J/K. The Early Years is the only one I have so far out of those mentioned. I plan to get the DIO DVD that recently came out with Vivian Campbell.

I couldn't resist posting those. Since we got that DJ back on the air here in Chicago, his forum has been buzzing (no pun intended) about his former sidekick Buzz Killman and whether or not he'd come back to the show. DTP - I have Stevie Ray's Austin City Limits and plan to at least get get Live at the El Macambo.
Do you know if the Allman Bros. contains original line-up footage or is it a somewhat recent concert.

The Allman Bros is from 2003. It has Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks and they kick butt.
I have 3 or 4 SRV DVDs and I like them all. The SRV Box Set has a DVD with footage not on the ACL DVD. Good stuff too. The Montroux (sp?) is good too.
I just found a while back a bootleg of Eric Johnson on ACL, the whole show, including the setting up of mikes, between song talking to the show producers and directors, false starts and everything. It was pretty cool.
