so i got home from work this morning (i work 3rd shift), and i see smoke rolling out from the cracks in my front door frame! holy shit. once inside, it didnt take me long to realize that my heater was on fire. hooray. a quick call to the fire dept., and i was off filling hard-cases. hey, i wasnt about to be the first guy on here to post a review of how good J/C's are for kindling! by the time the fire crew got here, i had a pretty sizable stack of SKB's and chainsaws on my balcony, which got some pretty weird looks from everyone but whatever. its not like i left a baby in there or anything. anyway, long story short, i got away with only some minor smoke damage in the areas right around the heater and everything else intact. thank god. if this would have happend tomorrow, i wouldn't have gotten off until 11. i would have lost everything! theres an upside to everything i guess!
