I didn't say anything about a profit...I said margin. And my light hearted comment was about the Epiphone brand vs the members view of it. And if you all are so secure about your purchase, you don't have to defend it with such vigor.
I'm pretty sure that I wished you all the best of luck in every post I've made on this subject.

I called and left a message on their answering machine today. Someone on Harmony Central said they might not have been open today. Someone else said they checked with their credit card company and that it was charged from a company in Florida called 357, so I'm pretty sure it's legit. I used my debit card and the money came out, so I'll check with my bank and verify the company myself tomorrow.
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.
Sorry Flametop, was just 'splainin my actions..been doing it all day to my husband..habit. But, I'm sure if nothing else, I will get exactly what I paid for..a $100 gift certificate and a tiny motorcycle. I believe it's legit, and I will be getting a new guitar in March.

I wonder how much money that scam company made on all you strokes... and I mean that in a nice way.

Ok, I'll bite. Why is it a scam? Maybe we'll never get the guitars for one reason or another. Maybe they'll come up with some excuse, maybe there will be fine print we all missed, but that all has to do with the guitar. 357 is a legit company with a legit ecommerce store. The way I look at it is that we all bought a $100 gift certificate and a toy bike. Hell. I did my christmas shopping! There may be something we are all missing here or something that is deceptive in the add, but you get what you pay for.
No need to 'splain Lucy. I just hope you all get what you want and everyone is happy. I'd hate to see any of you get burned, really, even if it's only for $160 or so. I mean, if I passed on it and missed a great deal, oh well...sux for me. I already put out the invite way early on to take a beating if evryone scores big. Not a cent on me... I did the 'pay by check' option. I figure if it is a ripoff, should know in the next few days. Check isn't going out until I'm sure it's not a scam, and I can always cancel the check too. I did this so they wouldn't get my CC#.
I have followed this thread from the beginning. I chose not to participate in buying one only because I have 2 Les Pauls at the moment. Good luck to all that ordered!

I'm wondering if anyone else has tried to contact them. I've left two messages starting at 9:15 and 9:30am this morning, faxed a note at 1:15pm, and left another message again at 3:30pm with no replies at all.
