ive always followed the "if it sounds to good" motto...

Just figuring out the logisitcs is crazy. How many orders have likely been placed...... How do they plan on having that many purchased/shipped by late March as they say.

I myself am going to hold out, I have a feeling there will be a "sorry, plans changed, you will all get refunds" THEN they will get their "buzz" they hoped for...

BTW, lets say they get ... 2000 orders. 1000 guitars at say their cost being 500$...... Is a company gonna give up that much for "buzz". Further on, if this REALLY spreads, they could get say 10,000 orders. 10,000 x 500$?!?

Good luck though fellows, if it all pans out, you get a great guitar for free....

I was just joking guys. They didn't ask for my SSN. It looks fairly legit to me. They just gave away a bike and 2 les pauls so they do seem to have big give aways.

This is a great marketing campain. Look at the numbers. Let's say they pay $500 for each guitar and they "give away" 5000. That is $2.5M. How much do you think a bunch TV commercial would cost that would generate this level of buzz? Also, remember we are buying a $32 model that probably costs them $5 to 10 to make plus the $100 gift certificate. Some people won't use the gift certificate so they get that money "free". Some will buy shirts and stuff that they make a tidy profit on. Each of those shirts is advertising and this is all over the net now so that isn't too much money to create a such a buzz. Look at West Coast and OCC, those guys probably make more on mechandise sales than bikes!

I guess we have to wait and see...

I'm in for the Camo package. I hope it's true. I'm pretty certain that it's not a hacker thing. They may pull the plug on the guitar though. I don't think anyone can conform that part of it, but what the hell. My kids will love the model and I can spend 100 bucks on shirts or whatever from their store. If the guitar comes too, well how cool will that be.

It looks like the Camo and bullseye are sold out. Damn I just ordered, posted here and went back, refreshed the page and all three packages were gone form that first page. If you click on the gift certificats section, you can see that the cmo and bullseye are sold out and the sawblade is the only one left. Hmmmmmm [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img] Maybe thats it. Maybe there was some kind of limit? Hurry up if you want a sawblade!

Damn! I made it by no more than two minutes. That can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how this all pans out. We'll see I guess. Not sure if I'll keep mine or not. I'll probably sell it eventually. It's not like I would have gone out and bought one, but for the price......

Its funny, because Ive always wanted a Les Paul, namely a Slash signature or the Zakk Bullseye signature. Well, if this works out, Ill have one more guitar that I want. Shit, Im running out of wall space for hangars now! Think its time to put a few in the living room! Good thing Im 24, single, and own my own house! No wife to bitch at me! Well I thought it was only one per household and after reading this I thought, what the hell, I'll buy another. Oh well, hopefully it's legit and I'll get the guitar! I ordered the bullseye. I've been wanting a LP for a while now... I'll keep mine if I don't need the money at the time it arrives...

Do they come with EMG 81s and 85s? If it's signature then I would think so...
