Oil Depot explosion in UK

I live 12 miles from this explosion and the smoke has now covered the sun light, so it's just gotten alot darker. It's expanding too. Here's some photos from my window

Maybe the fire is warming up the place? It looks a lot warmer over there than it is over here. Snow is everywhere.

Regarding who's colder, all I know is I see a lot of beautiful green where you are, but my area is covered in nothing but white snow everywhere. The snow did melt quite a bit today, temps are like 36F.

I have been through 2 blasts over the last 15 years at the plant I work at.None as big as this,but scary as hell none the less.Amazing no one was killed.............

When I was 16(1988), I lived in Las Vegas and went to Western High. Which is in the Northwest part of the city. One day during gym there was this huge mushroom cloud that you could see in the are towards Lake Mead, it just kept getting bigger and bigger, then about 5 mintues late BBBOOOOMMMM! Then we saw another Cloud and again few minutes later BOOM!. Everybody was like oh shit something happened because of Nellis AFB. Turns out it was a rocket fuel plant that blew up, Like 30-40 miles away from us, but it didn't seem that far at the time.
