Just a reminder, if you are getting anything that will be shipped across country, coast to coast is usually 5 business days so you should probably opt for 3 day for anything that isn't gonna get shipped out today.

this is a good post. being that i close and ship deals at work, the only thing you can really count on this time of year is -P1 overnight, and standard overnight. For real. anything else can get sucked into the system and who knows when?

I had a lady send an eCheck payment a couple days ago. They take on average 4 daus to clear. I told her that in all likelyhood it would not get there by Christmas.

Just a quick bitch about UPS and shipping. A buddy sent me something 2nd day air. It was supposed to have arrived yesterday. I ran a trace and the UPS Tracking statement said "article left at UPS outlet, forgot to load on plane for destination. Rescheduled for 12/15."

Forgot? They damn sure didn't forget to charge for 2nd day shipping. On a 34 lb. package, that runs about $140 (including insurance). I hope my buddy doesn't forget to ream them a new ass as they refund his coinage.
