Minor Threat was huge. One of my favorite bands ever, and one of my biggest influences. I still throw their stuff on every couple of months or so.

And the Bad Brains were ungodly good. I remember the first time I heard "Pay to Cum." I had never heard anything that fast before.

While we're on this topic, let's not forget the West Coast:

Black Flag.

One of the greatest bands I've ever seen live. One of the greatest moments of my rockin' life was standing in NYC's Ritz...Black Flag comes out...and Henry screams: "It's not my imagination...I've got a gun in my back!"

The place just erupted into a slamdancing fury. Awesome.
